Recently, Congress enacted the Financial Services Modernization Act, which requires that certain companies, including insurance agencies, inform their customers how personal information is collected or disclosed. At Alliance Insurance Advisors, LLC, we value our customers and know how much privacy means to them. As long as you are a customer of Alliance Insurance Advisors, LLC, you will have the opportunity to review our policies for collecting, using, securing, and sharing information.

Alliance Insurance Advisors, LLC does not sell customer information or allow anyone it does business with to use customer information for their own marketing purposes. Unless specifically authorized in writing or required by law, Alliance Insurance Advisors, LLC will not share any medical information of its customers:

Alliance Insurance Advisors, LLC will only use customer information obtained as outlined herein for purposes of underwriting and rating customer policies, processing claims, ensuring billing is accurate and offering customers other insurance related products appropriate for their needs.

INFORMATION WE MAY COLLECT
We collect, use, and share information needed to meet the high standards that Alliance Insurance Advisors, LLC customers expect from us. We also collect, use and share information to keep our customers informed about our products and services. We may also collect and maintain several types of customer information needed for these purposes, such as:

  • Non-public personal information about you from information we receive from you on application or other forms, your transactions with us and
    information we receive from a consumer reporting agency
  • Information from your visits to our website or social media websites
  • Information about you from consumer reporting agencies, such as your driving record, claim history, or credit information

INFORMATION DISCLOSURE
Alliance Insurance Advisors, LLC shares information with some third party vendors to better serve our customers and help meet their needs, such as marketing, fraud prevention and other services. However, Alliance Insurance Advisors, LLC will not share non-public personal information with any such companies unless there are written agreements in place to protect our customers and their personal information. We may also share information about our customers in order to help process claims, such as disclosing the name, address and telephone number of a customer with a mechanic to help facilitate a repair after an accident.

PROTECTION OF CUSTOMER INFORMATION
Alliance Insurance Advisors, LLC maintains physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with federal regulations to protect our customers’ non-public personal information. We also regularly review and test our privacy policies and practices to be sure they are adequately protecting our customers’ information.

CHANGES TO SHARING PREFERENCES
Existing customers that have already told us their information sharing preferences do not need to notify us unless they want to change their preference. All such preferences will apply to joint policy holders. This sharing option is only applicable for customers in the United States and does not apply to any Canadian customers if their policy was purchased in Canada.
